UPDATE: Check out a few Pics from the Health & Safety Day at Macoya! Original post below.
The North-East Trinidad District has planned a Health and Safety week from 22nd – 28th February 2015, to sensitize Pastors/Workers and our membership to the OSHA requirements authorised by the government for all Public buildings including churches, and to various health issues. There will be a First Training Session at Bethel World Outreach Ministries International on Wednesday 25th February at 7:00 pm for (preferably) two (2) specially chosen members of each assembly, who will become their assembly’s “Health & Safety Officers”. Health and Safety Day will be on Saturday 28th February 2015 with Open Sessions at the Constantine Park grounds at Macoya from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. There will be Booths from the Fire Services; Trinidad and Tobago Red Cross Association doing fire drills and safety, and also First Aid, helping with persons who fall and injure themselves while on our compound; a Drug rehab Team; a Medical Doctor and Health professionals doing Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar testing; and the Diet and Nutritional Association of Trinidad & Tobago doing lectures.
On sale will be Fire Extinguishers and Signs that are needed and required for Public buildings.
We will be serenaded by the A.R.T Steel Band and a lively DJ.
We trust that Pastors and members will take advantage of the services provided on the day.
