On Sunday December 7th, Rev. Ricky Mc Clatchie was installed as pastor of the D’Abadie Pentecostal Church. He had served as the Assistant Pastor at Daybreak Assembly for the past fourteen (14) years.
Ricky Francis Mc Clatchie was born in Toco, but grew up in Sangre Grande and Arima and he has been living in Morvant for the past thirty-one (31) years.
In 1983 while attending The Chaguaramas Youth Camp he gave his heart to the Lord, he followed on with water baptism and took up fellowship at Morvant Pentecostal Church in 1985. In 1997 in response to the call of God he entered WIST (West Indies School of Theology) where he graduated with a Diploma in Theology in 2000. To further enhance his skills he graduated from CCBI (Caribbean College of the Bible International) with his Bachelor in Biblical Studies in 2004. He has been an R.I teacher for a number of years at St. George’s College, and is also involved in prison ministry at the Maximum Security Prison in Golden Grove. He has a genuine love for people and a passion for evangelism, and as such he has been on several missionary trips throughout the Caribbean including Guyana, Grenada, Suriname and Guadeloupe. Rev. Mc Clatchie’s daily living is consumed with the notion of showing forth the heart of God in all he does and to everyone he meets. His desire is to be a man after God’s own heart and to serve his generation according to the will of God. He is the proud father of two boys and has been married to Michellyn Julia Mc Clatchie for the past 21 years. We welcome him to the North-East District.
