On Sunday, February 5th Rev. Albert Gray was installed as the new pastor of the Arouca Pentecostal Church. He had served as pastor at the Tamana Revival Centre for the past 9 years. Prior to that he had served in various capacities at his home church, D’Abadie Pentecostal, as well at the District, national and regional levels of PAWI. The installation service was officiated by Rev. Dr. Raymond Boca, NETD Presiding Bishop, who was supported by other members of the District Executive: Rev. Warren Harper, Assistant Presiding Bishop; Rev. Nolan Warner, Treasurer; Rev. Cynthia Jack, Church Ministries Director; and Rev. Phillip Gentle, Member-at-Large. Members of the Arouca, Tamana, D’Abadie, and ART churches also were there to support, as well as several other pastors. Rev. Jack, who had been serving as the church’s interim pastor, handed over to Rev. Gray by presenting him with the church keys and financial documents. After the ceremony and prayers for him and his family (wife Stephanie, and children Renee and Tevin), Rev. Gray delivered his first message, taken from Micah 6:8, on Walking with God.
Pastor Cynthia Cruickshank is now the pastor at the Tamana Revival Centre.
