Position Papers
The church of Jesus Christ today is faced with the responsibility of treating with a number of controversial or ‘ticklish’ social issues. These issues are not in any way purely philosophical, but have to do with the lives and lifestyles of very real people whom we have been called to reach. It is imperative that we take a biblical stand on such issues, even when the clear dictates of scripture place us at loggerheads with popular opinion. Clear positions have been formally adopted on the following issues:
- Homosexuality
- Capital Punishment
- Assisted Suicide
- Sanctity of Human Life
